Low-resource does not mean low-value

Data scarcity in a language is a technical hurdle, not a sign of a small market.

"Low-resource" is a phrase about data, but in a product meeting it almost always gets read as a phrase about people. A language with thin web text becomes, by the third slide, a language with thin commercial value. This is a slip that costs companies real money, and the people who speak the language a little of their dignity.
